There is nothing wrong to be born in a wrong place, but everything is wrong if you die there. Excuses are very good for the one who makes them but unwelcome to those who hear them. To be great comes with a price if you can pay the price you shall surely be great. The price to birth Facebook was paid by Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, the price of Amazon was paid by Jeff Bezos, while the price of Microsoft was paid by Bill Gates. The big question is, are you thinking of greatness or are you thinking to be great? You also need to ask yourself this simple question. What price am I to pay and am I ready to pay. Even in Freetown you still have to pay.

You cannot escape either the damage or good, blessings or the curses of the people that you associate yourself. To love is a must, but friendship is by choice. You cannot separate mistakes from greatness. That is why people who desire to succeed, read biographies and listen to the stories of great people. The purpose of opposition is to test whether your spirit is fit for greatness and ready for the pressure of success. You need to build capacity and tenacity to endure the processes. Success is not cheap that is why failure is intentional.

If you are not controversial, the seed of greatness is not in you. Listen, you need to be weird, difficult to be understood by people; you need to lose your normality and you need to think not only outside the box but outside this world. Warren Buffett said you cannot be normal and be rich at the same time. Think about this, July 2nd, 1962 Walmart was founded, and July 5th, 1994 Amazon was founded. The 32years of experiences of Walmart was unable to box the undiluted, voracious, untamed, and wildness of Jeff Bezos. I can imagine, the management members of Walmart saying to themselves at the beginning of Amazon, that there is nothing to worry about Amazon. Not knowing that Amazon is the new dog in the yard with the mentality, to pursue, overtake, and recover the marketplace thereby set a new rule of doing business online. If you ever have the privilege to meet with any of the directors of Walmart, they will say they played the dump games to overlook the desperate moves of Jeff Bezos. This is what I say. If they understand you, they will stop you.

It is very good to learn, but much best to grow and be yourself. Those who refuse to get familiar with doing online business are now forced by the COVID 19. Everyone is going online with social media and online video platforms. Facebook who doesn’t care about what Zoom was doing, quickly makes online video their priority, when the realized the attention that zoom was commanding in a short time. Google who have ignored online video now revisited and rebuild their online product for there users. In my short time of studying greatness, I have come to the understanding, that it is okay to copy as long as you copyright but it is much better to be original. If you are limited by anything, you will soon be losing your position to something. This is what I say, possess the heart of a follower but the mind of a student. Learning is important but originality is the displace of your excellence.

A great life is a function of Being, Doing, and Having. In the beginning, God said to the man, BE fruitful. You are called human beings for a reason. One of the reasons is because you are designed to BE what you want to be. That is why you dream and envision yourself doing great things. Inside the word, BE is the force of creation that empowers people to DO, and inside DOing is what gives the capacity to HAVE. The following are how to BE: Belief, Behold, Behave, Belong, and Become. Believe in yourself, Behold the reality of your future, Behave it as if you get it, then Belong to the company of the people who are like minds, and then you will Become whatever you want to be. It took me four years for my belief to take me from Nigeria to the United States and one year to see the reality of me becoming an American. This is the secret; greatness takes time. What will last long will take long? Ismael came on time, but he was not the child of promise. Isaac took so long, yet he claimed all his father’s blessings. The first work is the work on your inside. Remember, success is inside out. You can only receive what you can conceive. If the inside is taking care of, the outside will become easy. Don’t forget only doers are entitled to pay. That is what I called Having.
