My Personal Note From Studying Matt 7-8.

1. Scripture Of The Day Matt 7-8

Matt 7:11

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

2. Prayer Point

Matt 7:24-25

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Father, give me the power to hear your word and act accordingly to withstand the storm of life in Jesus’ name.

3. Prophecy

Matt 7:21

This is year by the power that is in the name of Jesus, you will do the will of God to the end in Jesus name.

4. Revelation

Matt 7:20

Wherefore by their fruits, ye shall know them.

You cannot be known by your walk, word, or believes, but by fruits (results).

Life is not in what you say, but in the result that you command.

Talk is cheap; results are expensive

Words are free, but actions have a price tag

Normal life is easy, but living extra-ordinary is costly

Matt 8:11-12

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

Understand gives you access to an inheritance.

Matt 8:14 …in bed with a fever

Fever is a person.

Matt 8:15

He touched her and she began she arose and minister to them.

One of the reasons you are healed is to serve.

Matt 8:16-18

Leverage on other testimony, to attract your miracle.

The people heard what Jesus did for Peter’s mother-in-law the came to receive their’

Matt 8: 24-26

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26 And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Because Jesus is in the boat, safety is a guarantee.

Matt 8:34

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

ü Results draws attention.

5. Inspiration

Matt 7:17-18

17 Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

It’s not about the fruit but tree. Much more it not about the tree but the seed.
The seed grows to be the tree, and the tree produces the fruit.
Your source will determine your results
Where you are feeding from will determine how will end
A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, and an evil tree can’t produce good fruit.
The result is a function of your person.
Your person is a function of your intake.

6. Action

Matt 8:5-7

5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Some things will never come to you, but you have to go to it
Those who stand to demand what they want will always get it
What do you want to do is what will birth what you will get
Sit back like last year and do nothing, or you want to stand this year and be what God has ordained you to be?

7. Question of the Day?

Who taught the people with authority and not like the scribes?

Answer: Jesus.

2020: Writing Challenge Day 1 | Discipline| Rotimi Adedokun

Hard work is meaningful. However, beyond hard work is discipline. Discipline is the ability to put your body under in other to achieve a set goal. Discipline is a force that ensures the finished product all one’s engagement. Discipline is the capability that solves all hard sentence of life. Nothing becomes great only by hard work, greatness is much more a function of hard work and discipline. Hard work gets to work, but discipline continues with the task until the work results in success. George Washington said, “discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all.”

Purpose is excellent; a vision is good, and a dream is powerful, but discipline is the mother of them all. Without discipline, purpose will be questioned. Without discipline, vision will be blurring, and a dream without discipline will be drenched. Hard work goes to work, but discipline gets the work done. Vision sees the future, but discipline draws the plan and picks the team, shares responsibilities, and coordinate get the results.

Nothing is impossible where discipline is still breathing. There is always a way out when discipline is still leading the way. Show me a disciplined man, and I will point to you the possibility in a seemingly impossibility situation. Discipline is a creator; Discipline is a finisher, and discipline is the insurance of greatness. Everybody can go to rest, but not discipline. Discipline says until today’s task is complete, rest will never be tolerated.

No one can be discipline for you, you are either discipline or you are not, and if you are not, you will serve the disciplined soul. Discipline can either be a must, a life, or a choice. Discipline is a must for a winner, a life for a champion but a choice for an average man. You can’t be disciplined and not know, and you can’t be disciplined and not win. Winners are discipline, but champions live a disciplined life.

Little discipline today will get your names out of the mediocre list. More discipline will get you in the right direction, while real discipline will change your destiny and write your name among world changers. Think about real success and the possibility of life, think discipline.

The big question is, are you discipline?

My Personal Note From Studying Matt 5-6

1. Prayer Points
Matt 5:14-16
Father, show me what to do to retain the salt and light in me for the benefit of your kingdom and the world in Jesus’ name.

2. Prophecies

Matt 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Between God and Mammon, there is the One. You either be a man or woman of God or a man of woman of gold. Gold is good but is only limited on the earth; also, God is good. He gives eternal life. Make your choice.

The Prophecy
Throughout the year 2020, you will never serve the God of gold (Mammon) in Jesus’ name. God will be your God from the beginning to the end, during the day and night in Jesus’ name.

3. Revelation

Matt 5:1
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him

Only the disciples are allowed on the mountain, and only those who are on the mountain can be taught; only those who are taught (Prepares, education/ train and get your ready for the task ahead of you) will know, and only those who know can lead.
Are you a disciple?

4. Inspiration

Matt 5:29
…it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Living Bible Version
Better for part of you to be destroyed than for all of you to be cast into hell.

A good life starts with discomfort and end in comfort and not otherwise.

It is better to give out little now, than for you to lose it all at the end.

Mic Murdock said, “there are two types of pain. The pain of discipline and the pain of regret.”
Jim Rohn said, “the pain of discipline weighs ounces while the pain of regret weighs tons.”

This is what I say, “If you do the easy thing, your life will be hard if you do the hard thing, your life will be easy.”

5. Action
Matt 6:33
You seek the things of the world like the Gentiles does, or you seek/find God first, and all other things shall be added to you. Life is a choice. I believe it is wise for you to seek one thing and have other things added to you. Seek the kingdom. Serve God, Be a blessing, love people, and witness to them about the love of Jesus.

My Note From Studying Matt:1-4

Judah, who slept with his daughter-in-law made the list of greatness (Matt 1:1-2). Ruth, who was a foreigner, also did (Matt 1:5).

PRAYER POINT:

Matt 1:1-2 & 5 Father, in the name of Jesus, by divine arrangement, include my names in the list of greatness. Matt 1:1-2 & 5

PROPHECY

The birth of Jesus commands the attention of wise men (Matt 2:1-2). In this year 2020, God will announce you to the world, and your testimony will draw the attention of people that matter in Jesus’ name.

REVELATION

Matt 1:25 But she (Mary) remained a virgin until her Son (Jesus) was born, and Joseph named him “Jesus.” Agents of change are always being denied the pleasure of life. Neither Mary nor Joseph enjoy the pleasure of sex, yet both pay the price of parenting the little Jesus. No enjoyment of intercourse, yet she carries the baby Jesus for nine months, and Joseph was deprived of sex after marriage for the sake of preserving transgenerational blessings.

INSPIRATION

Matt 1:19-20 and Matt 2:8,9 & 12 Joseph wants to disgrace Mary by secretly sending her away, and the wise men were on a mission to report to King Herod but a divine encounter, the table turned. The appearance of angels and God’s warning. The secret is this: If you are on the go for God, you will never suffer disgrace or disappointment.

ACTION PLAN

Matt 3:13. Jesus arrived Matt 4:1… Jesus was Led If you do nothing, you will get nothing. Emptiness equals emptiness. There are some things that you need to do and allow the Holy Spirit to guard (Rom 8:14). You need to sit down and plan, team up with great minds, and set a new goal and vision for yourself. You can either get pay for your time or results. Result payment pays better, but it takes time. You can afford sitting around doing nothing. What do you want to do today? If you think you can, you’re right, and if you think you can’t, you’re right. The secret is this: your conclusion is the seal of your portion. The state of your heart is the secret of your life. What you can’t imagine happening will never happen. Your mental readiness with faith has an unlimited capacity for results. Living a life that is void of negativity is the beginning of a new dawn. During chaos, talk peace, in sickness project good health, and in lack speak abundance. How you response during challenges is what will determine your circumstance. The reason is simple; everything is possible if you are positive. Positivity is the mother of possibility.

The secret of living life is seriousness. Your level of seriousness will determine how high you can get and how far you can go. Therefore, get serious! It takes only a serious approach to get some great results. One major question that life will ask you is this: Are you serious? Are you serious about losing weight, living healthier, be financially free, loving your spouse, spending more time with your family, and serving God? The secret is this: Wherever seriousness is lacking, results will vacate. The reason is simple; Whatever you take too serious, will take you very serious, and give you some good results.

Christ For The Masses Part 1

Yet another 365days of the celebration of the birth of the Christ, the man who changes the course of life. The Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and Christian all enjoy this holiday. What then is unique about Jesus Christ. This man Jesus, healed the sick, raised the dead, feed the hungry, and blessed the poor and went back to heaven to meet His father. This man, Jesus, broke the law of economic where he feeds 5000 with five loaves and two fishes. He broke the law of physics when He walked on water. He broke the law of biology, He conceded without the combination of a man and woman. He broke the law of chemistry, He turned water to wine. He broke the law of finance, He paid His tax with the money that was retrieved from the mouth of a fish. He broke the law of mathematics, an infinite number of people, languages, kingdoms, and tribes subscribe to His gospel around the globe. He is the King of kings, He is the Lord of lords, He is the beginning and the end, the I am that I am. The Almighty that supersedes all might He is the all-knowing that knows the number of sand on the seashore. He is the only Wise God, He has no limit because He is in charge of all things. He forgives sin because He loves people. He is the richest yet; He became poor that through His poverty, you might be rich. He knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end.

Are people happy for the season or happy for the reason? No doubt this season is the season. Some say there is a reason for this season, others said it is just the regular season, but I say Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. What then different Christmas from another holiday? What propel people to buy a gift that will drop in value in less than two weeks? Parents are ready to max out their credit cards to buy that newer dresses for their Children. Airports are full of people who are prepared to fly out and spend Christmas time with friends and families. In this same season, some forget who they are and make five minutes silly enjoyment decision, that will cause them a lifetime regret. The question why Christmas?

I believe Christmas is not intended for what people think, but for what God means. Form the scripture, Christmas is simply the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Personal Savior. One of the significant prophets before His birth prophesied, saying, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…” (Is. 9:6). The above phrase, “For unto us…” I break down the Christmas to be Christ For the Masses. For unto us, a child is born (The birth of Jesus), and unto us, a son is given (the savior is given to rescue our soul). That was why John said, Jesus was the true Light, He was in the world, and the world knew him not, He came unto his own, but as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God (John 1:9-12). He was born as Jesus, He grew to be Christ to love the masses and pay for their sin. Today is the celebration of our high priest who understands our pain, forgives our sins, identifies with our shortcomings, and carries our burden as if they were His, only us to reign with Him in heaven. Be Thankful

Bishop TD Jakes said, “Until you are thankful for what is not enough, what you have will not be more than enough.”

Thanksgiving is an appreciation for more. After my admission into the University of life, I quickly learn the following: Fullness is the cure for emptiness; Lack is the firstborn of ingratitude, and Increase is provoked by appreciation. I am very sure that you are not where you want to be, but one thing that you forgot is that you are not where you use to be. You cannot lead and follow at the same time. God is the one in charge of your destiny, starring the ship of your life. All you need to do is to enjoy sailing and appreciate the captain’s effort.

Think about last year November and December, you have a court case pending now the case is dismissed. Last year you were still a student, but now you are a graduate. Last year you were single now you are married. You celebrate your promotion and forget the promoter. You announce your success, but you neglect the one who initiated it. Those who close their eyes to little changes will never witness a significant difference. To keep seeing God’s hands, you must continually appreciate His fingers.

This is my question today; Are are you thankful? If Yes, are you giving thanks to God? If yes, are you consistent, steady, and intentional about it? I am glad you that you want to know about consistent, steady, and intentional thanksgiving. What is consistent? It is doing the same thing for an extended period, at the same time, in the same place, with the same heart and the same passion and drives with or without supervision until you get your desired results.

Consistent thanksgiving is giving thanks to God without waiting for the last Thursday in November, and December 21 of every year. I thank God for thanksgiving day and birthday celebration. Still, those who are consistent thanksgivers don’t wait for a specific day to appreciate God’s faithfulness in their lives. They just do it. The do it, anyway, anyhow and everywhere.

Steady thanksgiving is the spirit of celebration, which compels you to appreciate God’s faithfulness before, during and after chaos. Those who give God thanks during good times will be exposed in hard times. If you are only eager to give thanks when you receive pay raise, birthday, receive a bonus, then you are not a steady thanksgiver. The word steady means firm and established. Come rain come sun, you are there doing what you know how to do for God not compel or force by situation, circumstances, celebration or holidays, but by personal convictions.

Consistent and Steady thanksgiving are good, but you need to be intentional. Intentional thanksgiving is from the heart, not from the head. When you are facing the challenges life, what is in the heart will disappear, but only what is your heart will react. An intentional thanksgiving is a spirit that response in the midst of danger and fear.

Think about this, what response will you expect from a man whose airplane was about to crash? What answer do you expect from a man who was given a speed ticket while coming from church service? What response do you expect from a man who lost his job a day after sowing his whole paycheck to a church project? Listen, there are some things you cannot explain, but you have a choice to respond to situations as a thanks giver or as an ingrate.

Why me Lord is the response of an ingrate, but thank you, Jesus, is what proceeds from the mouth of a thanks-giver. Deep thought is what birth good and great response. If you are not thoughtful, you cannot be positive. If you are complaining about your seemingly negative situation, my question to you is, what if you are dead? Only those who see good in evil will have the opportunity to watch their evil turn to good. This is what David and Hezekiah said, “dead cannot praise you Lord” (Ps115:17 and Is 38:18-19). For your breath, give praise and say thank you, Lord.

The consistent drive is what you will need to pull away from the challenge of life, steady and passionate spirit is what you will need to start against the wild things of life, and intentional positive thoughts are what you will use to combat negative thoughts. This is the secret, BE THANKFUL.

Remember, thanksgiving is for thank givers who won’t stop giving thanks and always remain thankful.

Prayer For President Trump

1 Tim 2:2-3

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we are calling your attention to the happening in our Country, the United States of America. Especially what is about to happen today, 12/18/2019. We know that when we pray, you hear us (2 Chr. 7:14/1John 5:14). We leverage on your word, in Matthew 18:18-20, agreeing with all citizens (those who fear and trust in you) of our Country that you will intervene and obstruct all witch-hunting that the enemy has unleashed against our Country. Let the whole world know that You (God) still rules in the affair of men (Dan. 4:17). Your word says in Proverbs 19:21, “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” We pray today, let only Your counsel stand in the United States and in President Donald J. Trump’s life. Please, keep President Trump in perfect peace (Is 26:3) and engrave him in the palms of my hands, even as he rests and trusts in your divine intervention during the wind of hatred that is blowing across our Country. One more thing God, we know that every counsel of Ahithophel is always regarded as authentic (2 Sam 16:23); however, we demand just like David did, that you will frustrate and turn into foolishness all Ahithophel’s counsel in the House of Representative today and let only your counsel stand in Jesus’ Name (2 Sam 16:31).
